I don’t really advertise that I do maternity sessions but my creative wheels always turn when I get an inquiry for one. My direction and inspiration for maternity sessions comes from my boudoir side of business. Women + the female body…. are just absolute art to me. Women are incredible and the way our bodies shift through different stages of life is nothing short of magic. I have yet to experience pregnancy myself, but every maternity session I do, reminds me how insanely intuitive the female mind + body actually is.

My jaw nearly dropped when I saw that this insanely beautiful + talented fellow industry photographer wanted to book a session with me in my secret rooftop location. My palms are always a little clamier than usual when I have a fellow photographer in front of my camera, but damn did this mama make my job easy!!! Between that golden hour light, her funky looks and her natural, radiant, empowered energy, we were set up for magic. Obsessed is an understatement.
